Changchun is one of only two Chinese cities which has traditional tramway.
Line 54 has no on-street running section. But the fleet is tramway-style cars.
Changchun tram has only one line(Line 54). Another five lines were abonedoned. However many passengers takes tram. Trams are so crowded in morning and evening peak hours.
Since 2000s, Changchun city invests to tram. Cmpletely track refurbish work was done in 2000. Most old fleet(made before WWII) was replaced. Tramway will be extended in 2014 to Changchun West staion of High speed railway.
A DL8000 runs in residential area.

Type DL8000, line54 Xi'an Dalu -> Gongnong Dalu
DL8000 is second hand tram(ex-Dalian) made in 1999. Propulsion system of DL8000 is old system with nose-suspention drive. Body is modern, but sound is traditional. Name of next stop is announced by conductor. It's very strange in Chinese urban transport.
